Some clients either don’t want Botox or may not be suitable to have treatment with botulinum toxin. Therefore here are 7 alternative treatments to consider.
1. Cosmeceutical Skincare
Choosing the right skincare on a daily basis is just as good for your skin as getting an in clinic treatment.
Off the shelf and most ‘over the counter’ cosmetic brands, do not TREAT the skin. Only prescription strength/highly concentrated skincare or cosmeceutical grade will actually do anything for the dermis (top skin layers).
In clinic I can advise what is best for your individual skin type using Flawlessceuticals.
2. Microneedling
Microneedling with the flawless pen is a fabulous treatment for fine lines and skin texture. The tiny needles stimulate collagen and elastin and help smooth out wrinkles and brighten the skin overall!
3. Chemical peels
Chemical peels used in the medi facial are tailored to your individual skin needs, with specific anti ageing wrinkle smoothing ingredients.
4. Platelet rich plasma – vampire facial
Using your own growth factors taken in the blood with PRP this can be used to stimulate skin cells to repair folds and wrinkles.
5. Mesotherapy
Tiny injections of vitamins, minerals, growth factors and amino acids can be placed where they are needed or as an overall rejuvenating treatment.
6. Dermal filler
Dermal filler can be used to target individual lines and folds, for instant long lasting results.
7. PDO Threads
From full face lifts to fine lines, pdo threads can be used to treat the same areas as Botox with the smallest mono cannula threads.
My alternative treatments for wrinkles
My first choice for upper face wrinkles is always Botox, however I am pleased to be able to offer a wide choice for my patients.
