In a word, NO! Here’s why

As you age, you may notice your skin doesn’t exactly bounce back like it used to. Maybe you’re starting to get wrinkles, or maybe your skin isn’t full and glowing. This is part of the ageing process, and is affected by two things. Collagen and elastin are what help with skin elasticity, and give it a smooth and plump look. So we need to try and keep it healthy and boosted with aesthetic treatments which can boost collagen or other methods like supplementation.

Collagen molecule too big to absorb in the skin

The size of a collagen molecule is too big to go from the outside into the skin. Hence we take it internally, via supplements.

We can however, stimulate collagen, by in clinic treatments or by homecare with vitamins and minerals such as retinol and growth factors.
