How much is it for 1ml of dermal filler, is a question I get asked a lot. The cost of 1 ml of dermal filler varies based on several factors, including the type of filler, the clinic’s location, the practitioner’s expertise and technique, and the patient’s needs. Sometimes Dermal Fillers can be confused with other anti wrinkle treatments like botox.

Here are some general price ranges for popular types of dermal fillers in the East Midlands, United Kingdom:

  1. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane)
  • Price per ml: £240 to £1,000
  1. Calcium Hydroxylapatite Fillers (e.g., Radiesse)
  • Price per ml: £275 to £1,000
  1. Poly-L-lactic Acid Fillers (e.g., Sculptra)
  • Price per vial (usually not measured in ml, but each vial is used across multiple sessions): £500 to £1,500

These prices are general estimates and can vary. It’s important for patients to consult with a licensed, experienced medical practitioner to get a precise quote tailored to their specific needs and treatment goals.

How much does 1ml of dermal filler cost?

1ml costs from £220 – £500

But it really isn’t that simple……

Why do people want dermal fillers?

Anti-aging is, without doubt, the biggest reason for the rise in popularity of dermal filler providers around the world.

As we get older, the natural production of collagen in our bodies begins to slow down. A lack of collagen is the reason that wrinkles, fine lines, and jowls appear and fillers can provide you with some much-needed rejuvenation.

Here’s why its not that simple

There are lots of cheap treatments advertised on the high street. This confuses patients and increases the risk of dermal fillers going wrong.

The type of filler that is most suitable, will vary for each individual based on their needs and preferences.

Everyone has different shaped faces, different ageing speeds and different physiology under the skin.

Different people need different treatment dermal filler cost

There are lots of different types, sizes and indications of dermal filler even within filler brands.

Restylane

The depth of filler to be injected varies.

The deeper in the skin, the bigger the volume needs to be to make a difference.

How much filler will you need?

In most cases, you will need multiple syringes of filler to achieve optimal facial enhancement.

For areas like the lips, 1 ml of dermal filler is usually enough to achieve the desired outcome.

Other areas, such as the cheeks, may require 1 to 4 syringes for a noticeable enhancement. This amount can create a beautiful lift and add plenty of volume.

How long do dermal fillers last?

From 6 months to 18 months depending on type and individual lifestyle and physiology.

Why are there other places that are much cheaper?

At Flawless Aesthetic Clinic I use Restylane. This is for the quality, safety and that it lasts the longest in my opinion it is priced accordingly.

There are many cheaper dermal fillers on the market that are un licensed, untested and some unheard of. With no regulation and injected by people with no medical qualifications in un sterile environments with no insurance.

So in answer to the question How much is 1ml of dermal filler

It’s like buying a pair of shoes. I need a size 6 and I like Sketchers with Memory foam for work.

At some point you will have been measured / assessed for shoes. It is so important to be carefully assessed as an individual for something as important as getting dermal fillers for an accurate plan and price.

At Flawless Aesthetic Clinic, I have a chat with you to find out your personal needs and do a full consultation and face and skin assessment before deciding what treatments are suitable for you. I then fill out my assessment form and you get a copy to take away with a brochure to read up on and can contact me with any further questions.
